Multipurpose Loan
The Multipurpose Loan is a demand-driven scheme with a broadened scope covering personal needs of employees and their families.
Eligibility
Employees of the public and private sector on behalf of whom contributions to the National Savings Fund (NSF) are being made and who are in active employment for at least 1 year.
Scheme Details
1. Loan amount: Up to a maximum of Rs 500,000
2. Fixed Interest rate at 6.5% p.a
3. Repayment period: A maximum period of 10 years (depending on amount of loan)
4. Security:
- 1 Guarantor in sustainable post and who is in active employment for at least 1 year
OR
- Fixed Charge on Immovable property /Bank guarantee /Fixed Deposit Account or Single Premium Insurance Policy with a recognized institution.
